The Christmas Jingle Simply Scrappin' Kit is so easy to use! Using 1/2 a kit and a bit of 5/8" grosgrain ribbon, I made up 27 cards and 5 tags. In about 1 1/2 hours!

This class will be offered on November 18, either 9:30am or 7pm. RSVP and payment is needed by November 4 to have supplies in time.

You will receive 1/2 Christmas Jingle SS kit, 30 very Vanilla cardbases, 30 VV envelopes and a length of 5/8" Real Red Grosgrain ribbon, directions and cutting guides for future use.

Bring adhesive. All other supplies included.

Berry Christmas from Holiday Mini

These two cards were made using the Berry Christmas set I received at the SU! Cincinnati regionals last month. Teeny Tiny Wishes was also used on the tree card---again a favorite!

It's a very easy set to use, creating quick and easy cards.

These are examples of cards that I'll be featuring at upcoming workshops later in October, November and early December.

Just imagine a gold star punched with the small star punch in brushed gold at the top of the tree card.

Hostess gifts

Can you tell these adorable folders were once file folders?

Believe it. Take a file folder from SU!, cut and score and add a bit of sticky strip and you have an adorable folder that fits the junior legal pads perfectly!

I added the initial of the ladies that have reserved their spots in the hostess clubs. Crazy coincidence: I only needed to use the "S" and "M" letters from the Lovely Letters set. S and M, Ha! I crack myself up!

There are three spots in the Punch club and 5 in the Scrapbook club.

The punch club will begin in November and the scrapbook club will begin in December. Each club is every other month. For your commitment to either club of a $40.00 minimum order, you will receive a free Idea Book and Catalog and minis, a free class during each club month, at least $15.00 in free merchandise from any current catalog and a Level one stamp set/paper pack.

10-10-10 cards

Here are a few examples of the cards we'll be making this weekend at the 10-10-10 card class at the Westland Area Library. Spots are still available, but registration will close Thursday evening.



Remember, the idea are cards that can be made in 10 minutes or less. Any of these would be great when needing to make a large quantity, like Christmas cards or thank-you cards for birthday gifts.
The card with the sleigh took 7 minutes to make! Emboss the image in black, sponge on Perfect Plum, Brocade Blue, and Night of Navy ink. Border edge the mat layer and that's it! This set is called Wandering Words, set of 3, and is found in the holiday mini.

Punches are always an easy way to make quick cards! Easy use for the ornament punch from the holiday mini, pg. 7. The red/white ornament is DSP from the Holiday mini called Christmas Cocoa (pg. 21) and is flocked! The white feels like soft felt. So tactile!

Autumn Splendor from the Holiday mini, page 12, has become a favorite. Also uses Lovely Letters alphabet. I really like making cards using the one sheet wonder method.
Thoughts and Prayers is another wonderful set that is great to have on hand for those sympathy cards that we all need, but hate to make.

Think of it this way: You can drive to the store, spend an hour choosing cards for a few events, spending $2.00 a card plus more because you should pick up a few things while you're there.

Or:
Come to class, create 10 unique hand-stamped cards that will make the recipient feel even more special because YOU made their card.

LOVE this Ornament Punch

Can you see it? It's the ornament punch made into acorns. This was a quick and easy card to make once I figured out how to punch the acorn tops. First I tried to free-hand cut the tops. Too uneven. Then I punched another out of Chocolate Chip cardstock. Easy Peasy!

I used a retired holiday DSP from last year, so stop looking for it in the catalog.

The tag is from one of my favorite sets, Teeny Tiny Wishes. Layers just right with the word Window punch on topof the new Modern Label punch (which is becoming a favorite).
