A week of snow days!

My kids FINALLY were able to go back to school yesterday after having more than a week off of school.

This has been a crazy few weeks. Two weeks ago (today) the kids were sent home early because the weather was getting nasty. We got between 6-8 inches during that storm. Cleaned up the drive, the kids had skating and life was normal. We woke up to a two-hour delay and Cadence had no school. Monday night the snow began again. No school Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday and Thursday were called off because our county was under a Level 2--which was called off about 5 minutes after school was called on thursday! Friday was a scheduled day off for conferences. Kim and gang made it down from Toledo for the weekend. We had a great time skating and sledding! They headed home Sunday night, just a few hours ahead of another storm! Monday was off for the holiday and more snow fell Monday night--another 6-8 inches! No school Tuesday and Wednesday AGAIN! I'm not sure who was more excited to go back to school--me or the kids!

Yesterday was spent tidying up the house, laundry and some stamping! Finalizing projects for the retreat and March's classes.

Here we go!

Here is the Forget-Me-Not card keeper.

(retired DSP, Bashful Blue stitched ribbon)

This class includes the Forget-me-not keeper, a pack of Designer Series Paper (Cottage Wall, Thoroughtly Modern or Tea Party), ribbon, sticky strip and extras. You have the choice of making your keeper to organize by catagory or by month (calendars included). Just let me know which DSP and which type of keeper you will make.

Magnetic Build a Bears!

10 Card One Sheet Wonder. Each attendee will receive the templates and directions via email so they can create 10 beautiful cards in a flash.
This is an example using the I {heart} hearts set that is featured in the Haitian relief effort.

Each attendee will have the choice of color scheme: Bordering blue, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip or Almost Amethyst, Apricot Appeal, Regal Rose (which are this the color combos for this month). As seen in the examples below.

(Retired DSP and retired Daisy stamp set)

If you are attending the retreat, you will already have completed these classes!

Love all your projects, the build a bear is my fav. and the daisy cards are really pretty. We had the kids home for a week too and I can tell you I did the happy dance when school went back!!!

Great projects Monica. I really want to do a class on the BAB with the tins, but just don't have enough people that would use this age-limited project. Guess I'll just make one for myself (even my grandkids are too old for BAB). I loved seeing the discontinued -- brings back memories!!

Thanks Ladies.

It's been a challenge getting anything finished with the kids' home all day every day!
