Fiskars Trimmers
But not the Fiskars trimmer that I'd LIKE to be using.
Ever since I noticed this tag the other day, I've been waiting to post this. Too funny.
I've been cleaning up the fenceline on the road side of the yard the past few days. As the temps got higher, I kept asking myself why I didn't do this back in April when it was in the 50s!
But it's mostly finished. The rest can be done with a weed whacker. It looks so much better.
I got Summer Mini swaps back, so that will be coming up.....

More Notecards and Elements of Style
LOVE THESE NOTECARDS!
My two oldests' teachers love purple. This was made with them in mind. I sent some homemade pumpkin muffins in to the kids' teachers last week and sent these notecards in with them.
Here's another idea using the spotlighting technique.
Last night's class made these notecards. So fun!

Notecard Kit Class
Here are 5 sets of notecards made up for end-of-the-year teacher gifts. Super easy and quick.
Colors used are Going Gray and the current In-colors (Melon Mambo, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry, Bermuda Bay, Dusty Durango). All notecards used the stamp set Elements of Style.
The notecards and envelopes are one of the best deals in the catalog: 20 notecards and envelopes for $5.95!
The main stamped image is the size of a trading card 21/2 x 31/2. This means you can get 10 cuts for every sheet.

Such an economical way to thank your teacher's this year.
FOR THE GUYS CARD CLASS
Here's one card we'll be making at the FOR THE GUYS card class next week. It uses the great Ala Carte stamp from the summer mini. We'll also be using the Ala Carte stamp Motorcycle. FAB for those hard to make guy cards.
Other cards that will also be offered: Adult birthday, Father's Day, boy birthday, baby.
Be sure to reserve your spot by Friday, May 21 so I have enough card kits ready for you.
20 cards, $20.

What exactly is a "Crank and Fill" class?
I got my idea for the "Crank and Fill" class the other day when Beth was over and she let me use her new large flower punch and the Texturz plates #4--both of which I don't own. I proceed to punch out a bunch of flowers in different color cs/dsp and then used the texturz plates to make some embossed cardfronts.
I made up these cards for my MOM Connection leaders
I just "cranked" out a bunch of images/punches/embossed cardfronts to "fill" my box.
Here is my "Crank and Fill" Box

I was in a swap awhile back that did the same thing and I received stamped cardfronts of sets that I don't own, but have been able to make some great cards out of since then. Like this one using "As Close as a Memory":
and this set of 10 cards that came as a one-sheet wonder. I was able to make up these cards in less than an hour because the main image had already been stamped!
So much fun!
